The aim of the project is to investigate the influence of metal (Cr3+, Co2+and Cu2+) ions on the crystallization processes of dibasic calcium silicate hydrate. Which in the future could be used as alternative precursors for catalysts.
Project funding:
Project is funded by EU Structural Funds according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments priority “Development of scientific competence of researchers, other researchers, students through practical scientific activities” under Measure No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712.
Project results:
It is likely that the metal (Cr3+, Co2+ and Cu2+ ions) ions will penetrated into the crystalline structure of dibasic calcium silicate hydrate due to the peculiarities of hydrothermal synthesis (high temperature and pressure). Also, will be identify the optimal conditions in which the maximum amount of metals ions penetrate into the crystalline structure of dibasic calcium silicate hydrate.
Period of project implementation: 2019-07-01 - 2019-08-31
