Aim of the project is development of student’s scientific competence through the synthesis and properties investigation of new, simple-structure organic emitters containing phenylethenyl fragment. It is desired that new emitters would exhibit high luminescence quantum yields and could be applied in optoelectronics.
Project funding:
Project is funded by EU Structural Funds according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments priority “Development of scientific competence of researchers, other researchers, students through practical scientific activities” under Measure No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712.
Project results:
Design of new phenylethenyl fragment containing derivatives of acridane, phenoxazine or phenothiazine, determination of optimal synthesis schemes, synthesis of new compounds, identification and investigation of thermal, optical, photophysical and electrochemical properties of the synthesized emitters.
Period of project implementation: 2019-07-01 - 2019-08-31
Project coordinator: Kaunas University of Technology
