This project aims at creating innovative nano-photocatalysts that can be applied to purify water contaminated with residues of difficult-to-degrade pharmaceuticals. This is especially relevant when the issue of preparing high-quality and safe drinking water is identified. As environmental and hygiene requirements become stricter, it is necessary to ensure the high quality of water used for the needs of the user.
Project funding:
This research project is funded by the European Social Fund according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments, under measure’s No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712 activity “Promotion of postdoctoral fellowships studies”.
Project results:
The implementation of the project contributes in every way to raising the qualifications of researchers, especially by contributing to the acquisition of new scientific knowledge by conducting research in a new field. The mobility of researchers is also encouraged, new contacts are established with institutions operating abroad and conducting R&D activities, and cooperation is encouraged, which may develop into the implementation of joint projects in the future.
Period of project implementation: 2020-09-01 - 2022-12-31
