In order to develop efficient organic optoelectronic devices, such as organic light-emitting diodes or sensors, it is necessary to study the properties of organic semiconductors, with the special attention focused on the pecularities of formation of the active layers and their luminescence properties. As part of this project, it is planned to purchase a differential scanning calorimeter with cooling equipment, a luminescence spectrometer with a goniometer, which will allow studying the orientation of organic semiconductor molecules in their layers, and a FLS980 spectrometer detector, which will allow studying luminescence in the long-wave spectral region.
Project results:
The acquisition of new equipment will help to more effectively initiate new research projects, including those that will promote scientific and business partnerships. In order to become a technological partner in international value chains, products with high added value i.e., efficient organic semiconductors and emitters will be developed. The acquisition of modern equipment will create conditions for participation in the activities of international consortia whose projects are financed by the Horizon Europe programme.
