Glass forming blue emitters for cost-efficient non-doped OLEDs

Project no.: 09.3.3-LMT-K-712-02-0105

Project description:

Having the aim is the the production of a large area OLEDs, it is important that the glassy layers of organic electroactive materials were morphologically and electrochemically stable. The aim of this is the search for the new organic emitters that are electrochemically and thermally stable, exhibit effective and balanced hole and electron transport and are able to form stable molecular glasses, as well as the use in the structures of the blue OLED.

Project funding:

This research project is funded by the European Social Fund according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments, under measure’s No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712 activity “Promotion of postdoctoral fellowships studies”.

Project results:

New blue organic emitters that are electrochemically and thermally stable and are able to form stable molecular glasses, will be synthesized. New materials will be employed in the fabrication of blue OLEDs using cost-efficient solution-processing technique.
