On May 30 International Conference “Open R&D in Lithuania – Scientific Solutions for China Industry” organized in cooperation with China Science and Technology Park (Zhongguancun Haidian), in wich meeting with 30 companies and presenting the latest R&D solutions, products and technologies offered by Lithuanian science. P. P. Danilovas gave a presentation “Sustainable Bioplastics and Biocomposites” at the conference. On June 1, P. P. Danilov presented innovations of food packaging and water disinfection developed by KTU to the University of China Agricultural University.

Awards:

  • Saulius Grigalevičius won the Award of Lithuania’s Kazimieras Baršauskas (Electronics and Electrical Engineering) for his scientific work “Application of New Structure Semiconductors in Organic Light Emitting Diodes“.
  • Rasa Keruckienė won the 2018 LMA Young Scientists and Doctoral Students Award for Best Scientific Work in Chemistry.
  • Gintarės Kručaitės dissertation “Electroactive Substituted Carbazolyl and Fluorenyl Groups Containing Derivatives for Organic Light Emitting Diodes” was among the 10 winners of the “Best Dissertation 2017” competition. Scientific supervisor: prof. dr. Saulius Grigalevičius. Gintare, together with nine other authors of the best dissertations of 2017, was awarded by President Dalia Grybauskaitė.
